Running a Public Server
From August 2015 to April 2016, I ran a public Minecraft Kit PvP server called the Pioneering Warfare Network (PWN). This time period was during the release of snapshots for Minecraft Version 1.9: The Combat Update. The server ran completely off of command blocks. Every week I had to work quickly to fix and update my commands to implement the latest features. The goal was to let players test out the new combat mechanics as soon as they released, on a traditional Kit PvP server. PWN was a huge success, and amassed a total of 46,000 unique Minecraft accounts that joined over its 9 month lifespan.
